Hi! My name is Richard Grossman. I'm from St. Paul, MN. I'm a retired teacher and musician, songwriter and media producer. In my life, I've met some amazing veterans who have served our country in World War II, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Some of them were colleagues and students of mine, others are musicians and artists with whom I've collaborated. Each of them has their stories, struggles, victories and losses to share. These are stories of sacrifice, service to country, courage and camaraderie.

I've been moved to both laughter and tears by their experiences. Though I have no first-hand experience to connect me with their journeys, I have come to care deeply about how difficult it was and still is for many of them to assimilate back into their families and communities. In particular, the more I learn about PTSD, the more compassion I feel for those who suffer from this insidious and persistent condition.

That's what inspired me to draw on my passion for music and its power to unite us in humanitarian ways that have a positive impact on peoples' lives. I've written a song and produced a graphic video titled "As the Solders Die" to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). I'm asking you to make a donation. Your gift will help our wounded soldiers suffering from PTSD and support life-changing programs that empower, employ and engage America's injured veterans. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, warriors and their families will never pay a penny for these services.

So please make a cash donation here on this page and also show your support by purchasing a download of the original music video, "As the Soldiers Die." It's only $5 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to WWP. Please share this page on your social channels by using the provided buttons in the footer below. Help me reach my fundraising goal of $5000 in the next three months.

Thank you, in advance, for your generosity and support.

Warmly,
Richard S. Grossman
