Shawnee Mountain is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), a nonprofit organization that assists Warriors in their transition to civilian life following their service.

"Every warrior has a next mission. We know that the transition to civilian life is a journey. And for every warrior, family member, and caregiver, that journey looks different. We are here for their first step, and each step that follows. Because we believe that every warrior should have a positive future to look forward to. There’s always another goal to achieve, another mission to discover. We are their partner in that mission."

Your gift will support life-changing programs that empower, employ, and engage America’s injured veterans. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, warriors and their families will never pay a penny for these services.

This flag was flown in a combat mission in Afghanistan as part of "Operation Enduring Freedom." It was presented to Shawnee Mountain by CW4 Chris Joyce, Pilot in Command & Shawnee Ski Patroller in appreciation for Shawnee's ongoing support and recognition of USA Military men & women, and their families.

Join us in February for our annual race! On Sunday, February 7, 2021 Shawnee will welcome skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities to participate in the race. Using NASTAR format, this intermediate-level course is set on our Upper Tomahawk Trail. All race proceeds will benefit the WWP. Let's set a record this year!

"In Recognition of the Men and Women of our Ski and Snowboard School who have Proudly Served and are Still Serving Today in the United States Armed Forces."
