Dear Friends;

To help all the warriors that have been wounded in defense of our great country, I’ve started a new fundraiser to raise money for Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). The 121 donations and $12,323 raised over the last two is greatly appreciated. Since then many friends have asked for the link to my fundraiser which ended earlier this year so I have decided to begin a new page.

I will be continuing my a solo hike of the Appalachian Trail beginning May, 2024. I was forced to abandon my hike in 2024 after hiking 1000 miles due to contracting a severe case Covid somewhere in the White mountains of NH, and last year due to a foot issue and two deaths of family veterans. I will begin my trek this year at Deep Gap NC and hike north. Prior to this I will hole a Corn-hole Tournament at the Armed Forces Skeet Association annual Skeet Shoot from May 13-17.

Just as I did the previous two years year I will sound live (not electronic) TAPS each evening at sundown throughout my hike to honor all the servicemen and women and friends that have been killed, wounded, or who have passed away.f

I am asking for a small donation of $22 in recognition of the 22 service members that take their own life each day.

During my 30-year military career I served in the US Army as a Medic in the 10th Special Forces, and then as an Officer in the US NAVY on four Nuclear Submarines. The Military has been very good to me and now that I am retired it is time to give back.

Your gift will support life-changing programs that empower, employ, and engage America’s injured veterans. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, warriors and their families will never pay a penny for these services.
