It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of, Anietra Leana Miller, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 48 after a vicious battle with cancer.
Anietra was born on December 1, 1975 in Houston, Texas to Cynthia and Terry Savely. She grew up in Houston, alongside her sister, Adonia Akers, and attended Kempner High School. She advanced her education at a couple of schools, ultimately earning a degree Criminal Justice. She is survived by her only son, Casey Miller, who is currently a student in the United States Air Force Academy and her loving partner, Adam Turner of Ardmore, OK, retired Houston Police Department Sergeant of Westside Command Station.
Anietra was a loving friend and family member, always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her feisty personality, boisterous laugh, and strong heart made her an instant favorite for us all. She loved her country, her freedom and her family with all her heart. Her independence, strong spirit and passion for life were admired by all those who loved her.
Anietra's life was tragically short, taken quickly and unexpectedly. Until the end, Anietra was nothing but a fighter. We will all greatly miss her smile and adventurous spirit. But now, we are grateful that she is truly free, without any more disease or pain.
