Donald Root Cornhole Fundraiser & TAPS on the Appalachian Trail

Community supporter and veteran Donald Root hosts an annual corn-hole tournament at the Armed Forces Skeet Association Annual Skeet Shoot. Donald will be through-hiking the Appalachian trail beginning in May. Every morning and evening, he will sound live TAPS to honor all the servicemen, women, and friends who have been killed, wounded, or passed away. Overall, Donald has raised over $14k for Wounded Warrior Project. 

Home Plate Concessions Veteran Charity Event

Michael Lamb and Joyce Plukas hosted their event benefitting Wounded Warrior Project on Wednesday, March 6th in Mesa, Arizona. With live music, a custom golf cart raffle, and donations made at their concession stand Home Plate Concessions, they raised over $11k this year, and can't wait to return again next year! 

JMH Let's Get It Memorial 5k

Sandy Hasty has been supporting Wounded Warrior Project with the JMH Let's Get It 5k for the past 11 years. This event is held to honor the memory of her sun Justin Matthew Hasty and raise funds for Wounded Warrior Project and the Semper Fi/America's Fund. Justin served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an avid runner. The race was held Saturday, March 16th, 2024, and raised over $18k this year.
