EDUCATE STUDENTS. HONOR VETERANS.
EMPOWER WOUNDED WARRIORS.

We’re calling on K-12 educators to join Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) for Honor Their Courage! This unique educational service-learning program offers students the opportunity to learn about the history, sacrifices, and realities of military service members and veterans while fundraising to support injured veterans.

HOW IT WORKS

Register your school or classroom and gain access to veteran-inspired activities to help you create an engaging, interactive lesson plan for your students. We have a variety of activities, videos, and learning opportunities for all ages — just pick what works best.

Examples of resources include:

  • Values activity for your students to learn about the character traits of service members and veterans
  • Age-appropriate videos of warriors sharing their stories
  • Veteran-inspired activities
  • Take-home activities to help students learn about the veterans in their lives and local community

FUELING THE MISSION

Your students can make a tangible impact in the lives of the warriors WWP serves by raising funds as they learn. When you register, a fundraising page will be available for you to share with students, parents, friends, and family members. Your classroom or school can also earn great prizes as you fundraise!

“Our students were so proud of themselves for being a part in helping our veterans! This project was very emotionally fulfilling for our students and, as educators, the materials available made the task of teaching children about honor, courage, commitment, service, and integrity easier.”

— Jo and Michelle, 4th Grade Teachers, Wyoming
