Lois Jo Campbell Yackel (deceased September 7, 2019) and her husband of 56 years, Robert F. Yackel (deceased January 1, 2012; served in the Army) had a deep-rooted love for our country and concern for those who served. For Lois this was a personal and life-long passion that started with her siblings' service. Lois was very proud of her older brother and sister and their service to the country. Julian A. Campbell served as a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy and Alice L. Campbell served as a Sergeant in the Army.
Lois was deeply moved by the work of the Wounded Warrior Project and in lieu of flowers the family asks to honor her life and passions through a donation to this cause.
Your memorial gift will support life-changing programs that empower, employ, and engage America’s injured veterans. Warriors and their families will never pay a penny for these services.
