Kates Make An Impact

A personal campaign sponsored by Kristen Oster

September 30, 2019

The Royal Order of Klondike Kates – St. Paul Winter Carnival’s Mistresses of Fun and Frivolity –  have been honored to assist Team MN Wounded Warrior Project over the years in several ways. When an amazing opportunity presented itself, the Klondike Kates decided to show just how much Kates Make an Impact in the community.

Through their participation in the Red Bull Flugtag event in St. Paul on September 7, the Klondike Kates will “fly” their craft, Katie Hawk, over (and into) the Mississippi River. We hope this will raise awareness of the Team MN Wounded Warrior Project in an effort to PUSH the 10 year total amount raised to 1 MILLION DOLLARS.

Please consider helping us reach this goal.

Contributions to WWP help over one million veterans and their families. Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) understands that the transition to civilian life is a journey.  Their life-saving programs empower, employ, and engage America’s injured veterans.

This fundraising story is a special event. Details about the journey of WWP Team MN can be found at   https://fundraise.woundedwarriorproject.org/rtt/Fundraising/individual/WelcomeTeamMN

All donations will be combined with the Team MN total.

This event would not be possible without the support of our fantastic sponsor, The Bungalow Inn, who is supporting the funding the Kates need for special event insurance, production and marketing.
