Fundraiser Inspiration
Marcus Lindstrom and his friend walked 44 miles in 24 hours around a high school track while carrying a 100-pound rucksack on his back to raise funds for WWP. Marcus raised more than $14,000 and plans to do it again as a way to honor those who have served and are still serving.
24-Hour Walk for Veterans
Over the past four years, the Ocala Polo Club has raised nearly $40,000 for WWP through an annual polo match dedicated to veterans and their families. Because polo has deep roots in military history, the Ocala Polo Club honors today’s military heroes by supporting injured veterans.
