HOW IT WORKS

Once you register your classroom, we’ll give you the resources you need to make this service learning program and fundraising opportunity a success. We have a variety of flexible lesson plans for all ages — just pick what works best in your classroom.

Examples of resources include:

  • Values activity for your students to learn about the character traits of the military
  • Age-appropriate videos of warriors sharing their stories
  • Veteran-inspired social and emotional learning activities

What about fundraising?

There is a fundraising component where your classroom can help make a tangible impact in the lives of the warriors WWP serves. Once you register, a fundraising page will be accessible for you to share with students, friends, and family. There will also be some great classroom prizes available the more you raise!

“I think in a nutshell, [Honor Their Courage] is an opportunity for service learning and giving back, a way to say thank you to our nation’s veterans, a sincere way to help them when they come home after serving.”

— Leisa, Dean of Students (Florida)
