Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is an organization that is very near and dear to my heart. In 2012, while serving a tour overseas, I fell ill and required treatment that could not be provided in my deployed location. I was medically evacuated to the military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany. Upon arriving in Germany, the first face I saw was a WWP member. She welcomed me and provided me with clothing and comfort. Imagine yourself several thousands of miles away from home, family, and friends and not having the support your are normally used to having. The WWP provided that support while getting treatment for my injuries. Since then, I have been a member of the WWP and have received all the support and more than I could ever need in this life! After developing a relationship with the WWP team in Atlanta, they knew how much I loved Georgia Bulldog football and went out of their way to get me tickets to the 2018 National Championship game against Alabama! Talk about a dream come true!
I am hosting this fundraiser for the WWP to help give back to our veterans who are in need. Every donation will impact a veteran in more ways than you could ever imagine. Please help us achieve our goal and help a veteran in need, like me!
