One of the things Pelly was proud of was his service to the United States of America as a jump master in the 82nd Airborne. Up until his death he wore his Airborne ball cap and sweatshirt daily proclaiming his love for his brothers in arms and his Country. Those of you who know him, intimately, would think he would be wearing a camouflage hat or jacket because of his devotion to hunting and the outdoors when, in reality, he was more passionate about his Country.
When planning for his eventual departure from life, he immediately knew he wanted any donations to be made in honor of other men and women in uniform as his final gift.
